The Town of Kim is a Statutory Town in Las Animas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 74 at the 2010 United States Census. , the town included a complete school system (grades K-12), a post office, and a general store. Rodeo star Lane Frost was born in La Junta in 1963 but spent his first days with his mother and grandparents in Kim, while his father was on tour. ==Geography== Kim is located at (37.246129, -103.353643). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all of it land.
